I need to import a scene created in maya 8 and have not been successful. can you help with this? If so what would you charge? Thank you for your help.

      Hello Ernesto,

Obj format is going to be the key asset in transferring your Maya files into the iClone film-making environment. Use that along with 3DXchange to convert your AutoDesk content. Should do the trick. Thanks again for taking an interest in iClone Training.

      Hello Ernesto,

I would suggest using the OBJ format and 3DXchange. Make sure that your scene in Maya has no animation baked in and just bring the static elements in through the Maya to iClone pipeline using 3DXchange and the OBJ format. I would only apply a standard half hour charge to make the conversion for you as well. THanks again for taking an interest in iClone and iClone Certified Training.

    Hello Ernesto,

I would suggest that you export the scene as an .Obj format and then use iClone 3DXchange

    http://www.reallusion.com/iclone/3dx.asp

Use 3DXchange to convert the file from .Obj to .Vns format. This works best with scenes built without animation in them. This is something that could be accomplished in about an hour. If you are interested in having me help you with this conversion please feel free to email me at james@reallusion.com for rate quotes. Thanks again for your question and I hope this helps!

James please e-mail me about some training. I am a certified Sony Video editor and I want to get into 3d animation software. I am looking to do some movies with iclone. I am upgrading my editing suite with some new hardware this week and will be getting iclone 3. I already use Crazy Talk in my productions. I will look at some of your things on the web. Then try to make something myself. This will be my tinkering and then maybe you can get me on the right track.

Martin and I am the iClone artist behind iClone Certified Training. I would be more than happy to schedule a one-on-one custom class based on your wants and needs for iClone Certified Training. I would ask that you provide me with a couple of things prior to scheduling the session itself, first, what aspects of iClone would you most like to focus on, Characters? Cameras? Scene Production? Effects? Please contact me directly at james@reallusion.com with that information. Some people prefer to start with 2 hours but for the first time trainee that can sometimes be concerned about the level of iClone Training they will receive, so an hour to just become comfortable in the real-time training environment for your first class can be a good thing. I can get you in as early as this week or weekend depending on what works best for your schedule. Also, what time-zone are you located in where your training will take place? Please let me know and I will then send you further data regarding scheduling details, payment information and confirmation of class. Thanks again for taking an interest in iClone Certified Training and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Hello
I am also interested in the 4 hour step by step training for Iclone 4. I would like to learn this software to make my PowerPoint Presentation more interesting. For example I would like to introduce SharePoint to our company but, I donot want to use a boring PowerPoint Presentation. I would like to have 2 characters explainig the SharePoint Technology, the avatars could be talking to each other through text to speech software. Is this possible in IClone4? And how much do you charge and is it available on the web?

Please e-mail me back with the info.
