For the latest iClone, CrazyTalk, and WidgetCast portfolio content please visit…the Martin Bros. animation showcase by clicking here! Then read ahead to get an idea of how iClone has evolved
Below is a body of iClone content that has been created over the last 4 versions of the software and over the last 2 years. Some of these videos go back to iClone 1.0, before there even was a Timeline option. How were things accomplished then, like custom camera movement? Answer: By act of God, it was a crazy time in the first fragile months of the products beginnings, but somehow it worked out. All the way up to the very last thing produced in iClone 3.2 before moving on to the greatest real-time 3D animation tool in the world right now…iClone 4.0. Enjoy, there will be much more to come for this page for sure.
How was the robot created in the last video? Using 3ds?
Hey Will,
Samus Aran is a character from Nintendos Metroid Saga, and this model was created in 3DS Max and then harvested from Turbosquid.com. We rigged it for iClones bone structure in 3DS Max and then exported it as a VNS file. It is 100% animated inside iClone with VNS motion files only, no BVH. Thanks for your question and visiting the blog. I hope it helps you out.
Thank´s for share your knowledge, nice Job!

yours truly nour el din
Hello Nour el Din,
Your quite welcome for the help you receive here at iClone Certified Training. As per your request I will produce some tips focusing specifically on your issues. Climbing ladders and stairs can be accomplished in a couple of ways. First to climb ladders, use Locking Joints (tip will follow) and for stairs, turn your model into a Terrain and then the avatar will recognize it (tip to follow). Water splashing is something you can create with Particle effects and using the ON/OFF action for the emitters (tip to follow) Keep the questions coming because I love to help with the details of users projects. Thanks again for visiting and be sure to come back to see your suggestions come to life in iClone.
thank you so much for your quick answer
please see this
this is the logo of (Aljazers news) here iam asking about the global when
go to water
1- how to splash
2- global when go up how to turn to be logo. how ?
sorry for my bad english but i know you are smart to understanf me
Hello Nourco,
What would be best to produce something compared to the youtube clip you refer to would be to have the splash generated with custom particle effects, however, iClone does not have the total capacity to render realistic water splashing that is geometrically based, only image emitters at this time. So the quality of the splash would be lower then that of the clip you refer to. Second, to have the globe go down and the logo come up would be a simple Transform keyframe animation using 2 models, 1 the globe and 2 the logo, then a camera switch between two custom cameras to finish the shot off. It could be recreated in iClone however I would recommend using Max or Maya for that level of detail in the water. But if you go with iClone, sounds like you could use some Certified Training, Contact me to schedule a class or for free-lance rates. Thanks.
thank u so much for your reply
